Akhi Community Relaunch
Over a year ago, I started Akhi Community for Muslim men in Dubai. The goal was simple: gather, share our experiences, and support one another in a city where it’s easy to lose your spirit while seeking your providence (Rizq).
We gathered multiple times over coffee. At our first meetup, none of us knew each other. Yet, as simple as it was, we deeply valued having a genuine connection and sharing time with fellow brothers who understood the journey.
A few months ago, I left Dubai. I planned to relaunch Akhi Community globally, but time didn't allow—and my habit of trying to build slowly (or "perfectly") kept delaying the idea.
So today, I am reaching out to all Muslim men who want to be part of this: join me in building it together, imperfectly.
Why am I doing this? Because it hurts to see how difficult life is for many of us, especially over the last three years. Many of my Palestinian friends who once shared the same city—and sometimes the same office—are now scattered around the world in a new diaspora. So many are fighting every day to rebuild their lives, careers, and businesses. And they are doing it alone.
The story is similar for so many Muslim men worldwide. How much longer should we keep fighting alone when we could do it together?
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "The believers, in their mutual love, compassion, and sympathy, are like a single body; if one of its organs suffers, the whole body will respond with sleeplessness and fever."
This isn't an advertisement, a publicity stunt, or a political movement. It isn't a paid community or a tiered network. If you are a Muslim man who values his identity and wants to exchange the genuine currency of brotherhood, this is for you.
What’s inside? Nothing except brothers who are sincerely there for their brothers—a collective anchored in our authentic values as Muslims.
If this is something you want to build and be part of, comment below or send me a message. Let’s talk and take the next steps.
Salam!
