Change your lane or not?

When you are driving on the freeway, which lane are you usually taking? Do you stick to the right side, left, middle or do you just move around depending on traffic, direction, speed?

I found that our life has some similarity we can learn from driving on the freeway. For example, when you are going the max speed you can without getting a fine and driving on the left side, you might face another car blocking the lane because the driver thinks he is fast enough. You think he is blocking you because there are 5km/h more you could get if he moved to the right side or just pushed the gas a bit more. This makes you do one of three things: give him a sign to move using your headlights, or get closer to him (as if) to scare him, releasing your anger. If he doesn't, then you either hold your horses and just keep going, until another driver behind you comes and does the same thing you tried to do earlier.

So you might decide to take the right lane because it's a bit empty. You figure you can skip this slow mover on the left lane by speeding up on the right lane. You do it. There's a chance this could work, but there's also a chance you won't get enough speed or a chance to get back to the left lane because a slower car blocks you on the right lane. Then you start seeing cars bypass you on the left lane, and you think, "Ughh, what did I do!"

This happened to me, and I was thinking SubhanAllah. We find this in our life on other paths when we are trying to move forward. We might find someone who is delaying us or blocking us, and we think, "What should we do?" Try to get them to make space for us? Or be patient until a miracle happens? Or take the risk and change lanes?

What would you do, change your lane or not? Feel free to share your thought in the comments below
